Ronaldinho has rolled back the years to celebrate his 'dancing' goal against Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League 18 years ago.

The former Barcelona star netted one of the best goals in football history in a classic game at Stamford Bridge on March 7, 2005.

The Brazil legend left Chelsea's former goalkeeper, Petr Cech stuck like a mannequin after toying defenders, John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho, before firing home.

Ronaldinho shared the video on social media as he looked back on his playing days.

"18 years ago we fought this great battle at UEFA Champions League!!! A very difficult match, but one that I will always remember with great affection for this beautiful goal scored!," he wrote on Twitter.

On an entertaining night in London, Chelsea raced to a 3-0 lead before the 20-minute mark after Eidur Gudjohnsen, Frank Lampard, and Damien Duff had scored.

The Brazilian responded before half-time after netting twice in 11 minutes, including a sensational second.

Chelsea ended up winning the game 4-2 after Terry scored with 14 minutes remaining.

Ronaldinho enjoyed a stellar career with the Catalans, with multiple La Liga titles and the 2006 UEFA Champions League.

Ronaldinho celebrates son's Barcelona move

The Brazilian legend is also overjoyed with news that his son, Joao Mendes de Asis Moreira has joined Barcelona.

Sports Brief reported on Ronaldinho asking for God's blessings afer Mendes signed to the Catalan giants' U19 team.

The talented youngster is expected to continue the legacy of his famous father, who became a legend of the city.

Sports Brief also reported on Brazil and Barcelona legend, Ronaldinho lacing up his boots once again.

Now 42, having retired in 2015, the famous footballer was in action in a seven-a-side Kings League tie.

The tournament, run by ex-Barca defender Gerard Pique, allows a 12th player to feature each week.
