Pop legend Shakira is set to roast ex-partner Gerad Pique in a new savage song that will be released on their birthdays, it has emerged.

Shakira, 45, broke up with Pique, 35, in June 2022 after the former Barcelona defender was reportedly caught cheating.

The couple had been together since 2010 and their union was blessed with two children, Milan and Sasha.

It was reported that Pique is now dating 23-year-old model Clara Chia Marti.

It appears Shakira is about to release another savage song against his former lover Pique.

According to Spanish Publication Marca, the Colombian musician is readying a new song which is set to be released on February 2.

The reports further suggest that Shakira’s new song could contain references to Pique in a ‘more subtle and less direct way’.

February 2 happens to be a rather significant date as both Shakira and Pique will celebrate their birthdays on that day.

Earlier this month, Shakira aimed a dig at Pique and his younger lover in leaked lyrics from her new song.

Since their separation, Shakira’s music has included references to Pique, but never as blatant as her release with Bizarrap.

Pique to took Shakira's diss song towards him in good humour as he disclosed that his seven-a-side league struck a sponsorship deal with Casio.

We have reached an agreement with Casio in the Kings League to sponsor us. Casio is a great watch, it lasts a lifetime," Pique was translated as saying, via Marca.

The former Barcelona defender added that one of the players of his Kings League would arrive in a Twingo after an agreement with the company.

"I have closed an agreement with Twingo to arrive on Sunday with player number 12 dressed as a clown," Pique joked.
