As reported by Marca, Lewandowski has been hit with a three-game ban for his actions against Osasuna.
What did Lewandowski do?
The Polish striker was sent off in the game after receiving two yellow cards, but he didn’t take it lying down. Lewandowski argued with the referee, insinuating that the referee was crazy while leaving the pitch.

Lewandowski’s actions were considered to be disrespectful, earning him a longer ban. Lewa has maintained his innocence and claimed the footage was misleading.
Pique also punished
Gerard Pique, who also questioned the referee during the break, was given a four-game ban. However, Pique has since retired from the sport and will not be affected by the ban.
Barcelona to appeal the decision
Barca Universal reported that the club would appeal the decision. The Blaugrana are disputing the decision to punish Lewandowski for three games instead of the standard two for a red card offence.
The games Lewandowski will miss
If Barcelona are unable to appeal the decision, they will be without their star striker for games against Espanyol, Atletico Madrid and Getafe.
