Luis Nazario de Lima Ronaldo somehow will go down as one of the greatest strikers ever in the history of football.

A three-time FIFA Player of the year and one of the most lethal forwards of the 90s and early 2000s, Ronaldo absolutely lit it up for some of the best clubs in Europe throughout his career.

He made it to Europe after the 1994 World Cup as he joined PSV Eindhoven from Cruzeiro.

After two seasons with the Dutch giants, O Fenomeno signed for Barcelona for a then world record fee reported around $19.5 million.

The legendary striker spent one season at the Camp Nou, but it was arguably the greatest of his career.

During his time in Catalonia, Ronaldo scored an incredible 34 goals in 37 LaLiga appearances, but some of his goals that are most revered is his treble against Valencia way back in 1996.

The match in question happened at Camp Nou with Ronaldo scoring all three in Barcelona’s 3-2 victory over their LaLiga rivals.

In fact, it took spectacular saves from the Valencia goalkeeper to prevent Ronaldo, who was 20 years old at that time, from netting six goals.

Ronaldo's goals that evening were not just extraordinary, but they showed why he was the best player in the world and didn’t need any adjectives.

The mercurial goal poacher made goalscoring look easy with his predatory instincts combined with his supersonic speed and amazing skillset which left defenders dazed with his immense quality.

Ronaldo also possessed some serious tricks up his sleeve and was well noted for his trademark stepovers to beat his marker, especially, goalkeepers on one-on-one situations.
