The finer details of Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski's contract have reportedly been leaked online.

The 33-year-old has been in superb form for the Catalan giants in recent weeks since completing his £45m switch from the German Bundesliga in July.

The Poland international has bagged six goals and registered one assist in the three appearances in the ongoing Spanish La Liga.

After signing a four-year deal to stay in Catalonia, the details of Lewandowski's complex contract with Barcelona after quitting Bayern Munich have been exposed.

According to Que t'hi jugues, via Marca, Lewandowski will rake in a net salary of 10 million euros this season. That amount could rise to 13 million euros next season and 16 million euros in 2023/24 campaign.

If Lewandowski stays in the penultimate season of the contract, his salary will drop to 13 million euros. Barcelona also added an eye-watering eight-figure release clause in the deal to protect their investment in Lewandowski.

Per the report, there is a secret clause that both Lewandowski and Barcelona agreed upon. The Camp Nou outfit will be able to terminate the Pole's contract if he plays less than 55% of the matches in the third year.

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has been shortlisted for La Liga’s player of the month award for August.

The 33-year-old is among a list of six players, who have been nominated for their impressive performances in the month under review.

The Poland international will compete with Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior, Borja Iglesias of Real Betis, Villarreal's Geronimo Rulli, Celta Vigo forward Iago Aspas, Chimy Avila of Osasuna and Real Mallorca's Kang-in Lee.
