Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has put the cat among the pigeons with a cryptic message on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter.

Chelsea are looking to reach an agreement with Barcelona for the services of Aubameyang as a matter of urgency after resuming talks with the Catalan giants on Thursday, according to reports.

The 34-year-old former Arsenal forward fuelled reports of his exit from Barcelona with seven days left till the end of the summer transfer window with a cryptic message.

Aubameyang first dropped the hint of his departure following his substitution in Wednesday night's charity game between Barcelona and Premier League side Manchester City, where he appeared to bid farewell to the fans at the Spotify Camp Nou.

He followed his wave on the field with a post on Twitter, seen by Sports Brief, where the Gabonese superstar tweeted an emoji of a fist which has since left both fans of Barcelona and Chelsea in suspense.

Chelsea push to get prime target Aubameyang as Barca demand €30m

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Chelsea’s push to secure the services of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona is progressing well and both clubs just need to iron out a few details before his transfer is concluded.

The Gabonese forward has been a priority for the Blues this summer transfer window as they try to sign a striker to beef up their attack following the exit of Romelu Lukaku.

According to reputed Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona are demanding a transfer fee of at least €30 million for Aubameyang before concluding the deal.
