Bellerin spent last season in the La Liga with Real Betis and the Copa Del Rey champions are also interested in his return to the club again this season.

The 27-year-old Bellerin represents the best option for Barcelona as he is in the final year of his contract with Arsenal and could arrive on a free transfer, with the termination of his contract an option that is being considered.

Barcelona to choose between three candidates as their new right-back

Meanwhile, Barcelona will have to decide who emerges as the club’s new right-back before the close of the summer transfer window.

According to Barca Universal, the Catalan giants are considering three options with Villareal’s Juan Foyth, Borussia Dortmund’s Thomas Meunier, and Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin all on the club’s shortlist.

Uruguayan defender, Ronald Araujo has been used as a makeshift right-back by Xavi until Barcelona completes a deal for a new full-back.

Barcelona plans to hijack Hector Bellerin

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Barcelona are considering re-signing Arsenal defender, Hector Bellerin this summer as the Catalans seek to strengthen its defense this season.

Real Betis are leading the race to sign the Spanish defender who played for them on loan from the Gunners last season but the deal is now being threatened by Barcelona’s interest.

Barcelona considers Bellerin the cheaper option available in their search for a right-back as other transfer targets in Juan Foyth and Thomas Meunier would cost the Catalans a huge sum.
