Jules Kounde could end up leaving Barcelona without making a competitive appearance for the Catalan club as Barcelona are still to register the French defender for the new campaign.
Barcelona reached an agreement with Sevilla to sign Kounde this summer after a fee of €55 million was paid with the defender penning a contract at Camp Nou until 2027.
Blaugrana will however lose the services of Kounde as a clause in the player’s contract has revealed he can leave for free if the club fails to register him before the end of the transfer window Get Spanish Football News reports.
