While players like Robert Lewandowski, Pedri and Ansu Fati all received loud cheers, Braithwaite was not warmly welcomed by the club.

The Danish has fallen out of favour at Camp Nou and has been listed as one of the players that Barcelona wants to part ways with this summer. However, Braithwaite has agreed to leave on the condition that Barca pays his full salary for the two years remaining on his current contract.

His reluctance to leave the club has now angered fans.

Another player on the outs at Barcelona, Samuel Umtiti, was not even presented to the crowd as part of the squad.

As reported by Marca, it was agreed by the player and club that he should not be at the stadium. The publication reported that Umtiti is not a favourite among fans at the moment and would have also received a hostile reception if he were there.

Barcelona are finding that parting ways with players is harder than it looks.

Frenkie de Jong and Sergino Dest both refused to leave the club, and now Martin Braithwaite is doing the same.

The Danish striker is also on the unwanted list at Barcelona and has agreed to leave, but only on one condition.
