Ángel Di María and Juan Cuadrado made the most of the freedom to combine well on the left-hand side and create chances.

Cuadrado had Juve’s best chance in the 22nd minute when he found himself one-on-one with Marc-André ter Stegen, but his audacious chip was sent just wide of the post.

The two sides had a drink break after 30 minutes, and the chance to take on refreshments seemed to have inspired another Barcelona push. Ousmane Dembélé produced a moment of individual brilliance as he cut in from the right flank, dribbled his way past three Juventus defenders, and fired home into the bottom of the net.

Juventus were level less than ten minutes later as Moise Kean finished off a drilled-in cross by Cuadrado. The equalizer seemed to have woken up Barcelona as the Spanish side restored their lead from the restart.

Dembélé repeated his antics that led to the first goal as he cut in from the right flank, dribbled his way past the defenders and blasted a curled effort into the back of the net.

Dembélé turned provider minutes later when he set up Franck Kessié, but the Ivorian player’s shot was smothered over the bar by Wojciech Szczęsny in the Juventus goal. The save meant that Barcelona went into the break with only a one-goal lead.

Juventus took just seven minutes after the restart to draw level once again. Keane grabbed his second of the game as he pounced on a loose ball in the box.

Barcelona had three great chances to restore their advantage in the following minutes. Lewandowski headed over from close range before Ansu Fati and Raphinha both hit the crossbar with beautiful efforts.

Memphis Depay, who was brought on as a substitute in the latter part of the second half, also came close to giving Barcelona a later winner. The Dutch forward could not make the most of the chances he has as both teams had to settle for a draw.

Raphinha scores as Barcelona beat Real Madrid in friendly in Las Vegas

Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 1-0 in a friendly match in Las Vegas thanks to a strike from new signing Raphinha on Saturday morning on July 24th.

Raphinha opened the scoring in the 27th minute after he intercepted a wayward pass from Real's Eder Militao to secure the win in a match in which Robert Lewandowski made his debut for Barca.

The Brazil international joined the La Liga giants from Leeds United in a deal worth up to £55m earlier this month.
