Robert Lewandowski secured a transfer to FC Barcelona from Bayern Munich, but his move has a profound effect on not only the clubs involved.

Barcelona is rejoicing the stellar signing, while Bayern Munich are preparing for life after the Polish striker. However, German club FC Augsburg seems to be the most excited by the news.

The social media team at the club took to Twitter to congratulate Lewandowski on his move to Spain and also joke that they won’t miss him in the Bundesliga.

The Polish striker intimidated many defences in the league but had a particular fondness for scoring against FC Augsburg.

As reported by the Bundesliga’s official site, Lewandowski had scored 23 goals against the side in just 19 games between the two teams.

He only failed to score in just two games from the 13 that he played against them as a Bayern Munich player.

According to Bulinews, Lewandowski has now taken the action of leaving his wife and kids back home as he returned to Germany for preseason training with Bayern Munich.
