A rare picture of two-time World Footballer of the Year, Ronaldinho and his elder brother Roberto de Assis Moreira has surfaced on the internet.

The duo never shared the same pitch together as teammates however they share an incredible bond which transcends beyond a big-brother-and-younger-sibling relationship.

In photos shared on Twitter, seen by Sports Brief, Ronaldinho and Roberto spotted in a Gremio jersey took a picture together during the latter's active playing days.

Who is Roberto de Assis?

Roberto de Assis Moreira is a former footballer and the elder brother of 2002 FIFA World Cup winner, Ronaldinho.

The 51-year-old, who owns Brazilian outfit Porto Alegre Futebol Clube, served as Ronaldinho's manager, agent and adviser during the Barcelona icon's glittering football career.

Assis was an inspiration for his brother, Ronaldinho, who later became a global phenomenon - winning the Ballon d'Or award on two occasions.
