Liverpool superstar opens to join Barcelona to boost chances of winning Ballon D'Or

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Liverpool who are Premier League giants could be losing Senegal international Sadio Mane who has been linked with a move to Barcelona where he feels Ballon d'Or can be won by him.

In the history of football, only George Weah who is now the president of Liberia has won the Ballon d'Or award and efforts by other players to do so have been futile.

The likes of Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto'o and Emmanuel Adebayor tried their best, but none of these African players won the Ballon d'Or.

Sadio Mane is setting a target for winning the Ballon d'Or for himself before he retires from football even though he knows it won't be easy.

Sadio Mane cam close to win the Ballon d'Or award in 2019 when he finished fourth after the Reds won the Champions League.

The forward who won the 2021 African Cup of Nations title with Senegal feels winning the Ballon d'Or at Barcelona can come to reality for him at the Camp Nou.
