Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich could lose the services of Polish striker Robert Lewandowski as reports say the striker has agreed to a blockbuster deal to join Barcelona.

Polish outlet Interia Sport reports via Mirror that the forward has agreed to join the La Liga outfit on a three-year deal.

The superstar has been at Bayern Munich since 2014 and he has grown to become one of the fiercest strikers in world football.

Lewandowski has just one more year on his current contract and his future at the German club as reports say he is looking to play elsewhere.

According to journalist Sebastian, Lewandowski is seeking a new challenge with Barcelona, though it does not necessarily mean he will end up joining the Catalans.

He wrote:

“Robert Lewandowski has an agreement with Barcelona. The deal is to cover a 3-year contract. There were also offers from PSG, City and LFC.
“Does this mean summer transfer? Not necessarily. But the info sent to Bayern is clear: the Pole wants to change the club.”

Barcelona manager Xavi has identified Lewandowski as the prolific striker his side needs to restore their former glory.

Agbonlahor claims Harry Kane is better than Lewandowski

Former Premier League striker, Gabriel Agbonlahor has stirred a bit of controversy as he believes England striker, Harry Kane is better than Robert Lewandowski.

Agbonlahor labelled the Bundesliga as a "Mickey Mouse league" as compared to what is obtainable in the English Premier League.

Agbonlahor believes that the level of competition that Kane faces in the English top-flight puts him ahead of Lewandowski.

Bayern Munich to unleash onslaught against Villarreal

Meanwhile, Sports Brief earlier reported that Bayern Munich have a tough task ahead of them as they welcome Villareal to the Allianz Arena in the UEFA Champions League.

The Yellow Submarines hold a slight one-goal advantage over the German side from the first leg, with the semi-finals insight.

Bayern were far from their best during the first game, while Villareal had numerous chances to put the game beyond doubt, but failed to do so.
