Sergi Roberto has been told the conditions that will enable him to remain a Barcelona player as the Spanish defender contract runs out with the Spanish giants.
The Spanish defender has been told by the Catalan club he will need to take a 50 percent pay-cut in other to extend his stay with the Catalan club.
According to a report via Sports Bible, Sergi Roberto’s entourage are looking to hold a meeting with Barcelona to discuss the matter this week.
The 30-year-old right-back who has been out injured is expected to be fit and available again around April, just a couple of months before his contract at the Nou Camp expires at the end of the season.
Barcelona to appeal Dani Alves Suspension
Meanwhile, Barcelona is set to lodge an appeal to the Spanish La Liga Appeals Committee against the suspension of defender Dani Alves.
