It read:

“For 35-years I have kept a secret from the world, from my family, from my teammates, my players, my colleagues and, I can now accept, from myself. Even those closest to me have not known of the rape I endured at the hands of a prominent football official when I was a younger player.
"Later, two sexual assaults by two other men were added to this record. All three men were employed within the Dutch football at the time of these incidents."

Pauw said that she has laid charges against the men she has accused of the acts, adding that she received no assistance from Dutch football authorities. She was Banyana's coach from 2014 until 2016, guiding them to an appearance at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, among other achievements.

More trouble for former WWE boss Vince 'Mr' McMahon as former referee alleges that he raped her

Vince McMahon is getting deeper into trouble by the day.

As reported by Sports Brief, Mr McMahon had to step down from his role as the World Wrestling Entertainment chairman and chief executive officer after he and former head of talent relations John Laurinaitis - who also had to vacate his position - allegedly paid an ex employee hush money to keep an affair between her and McMahon quiet.

It has since been reported that McMahon stands accused by Rita Chatterton - WWE's first-ever female referee - of rape in the 1980s.
