South Africans relish Tshabalala’s goal

The goal will forever be immortalized for another reason; Siphiwe Tshabalala’s stunning strike against the Mexicans.

The goal has gone down in history as one of the most memorable goals ever scored in a World Cup. The touchline celebrations also became as memorable as the goal itself.

Famous commentator Peter Drury described it at the time as a 'Goal Bafana Bafana, goal for South Africa, goal for all Africa'.

Ex-Bafana Bafana star says Hugo Broos is too honest

Sports Brief earlier reported that Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has to start toning down on the bluntness.

This is the view of former national team player Lance Davids, in response to the uncompromising 70-year-old Belgian's approach.

Davids believes that Broos should show more restraint when getting his points across.
