Antoine Griezmann reached a goal-scoring hallmark for Atletico Madrid in their narrow win over Athletic Bilbao on Saturday, October 15.

Griezmann, who re-signed permanently from Barcelona recently, notched his third league goal of the campaign to hand the Rojiblancos victory at Athletic Bilbao in La Liga.

The France international literally passed the ball into the right side of the net from a tailor-measured cutback from Alvaro Morata to score the game's only goal.

According to GOAL, his goal against Bilbao was his 100th strike in the Spanish top-flight for Atletico Madrid, which matched his total tally last season (3).

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are set to put their differences aside, as it appears both La Liga clubs have reached an amicable solution on the Antoine Griezmann transfer.

The Catalan giants had inserted a mandatory permanent purchase clause of €40million after allowing the French forward to rejoin Atletico Madrid on a 2-year loan.

According to Barca Universal, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid will shake hands on a deal worth €20 million, with the €40 million obligatory clause no longer in place.
