Samuel Lino is making history in La Liga already, but it’s not for his actions on the field.

The Brazilian winger has the unique distinction of signing for two different Spanish clubs in the space of less than a month.

Lino was signed by Atletico Madrid for €6,5 million from the Portuguese side Gil Vicente earlier in the month. Lino played 99 games for the Portuguese side and scored 26 goals for the club.

20 days after joining Diego Simeone’s side, Lino was loaned out to Valencia CF, Football Espana reported. Lino joins Gennaro Gattuso’s side on a one-year loan deal and becomes their second signing of the summer.

Valencia have struggled to bring in new players due to their financial constraints. Last month ESPN reported that Valencia's debt was €400 million.

The Spanish club needs to earn at least €40 million in outgoing transfers in order to bring in new players.

At present they are looking to bring in free agents and loan deals in order to strengthen their squad.

Following the arrival of Alex Witsel from Borussia Dortmund and Samuel Lino from Gil Vincente, Atleti have now brought in Nahuel Molina from the Italian side Udinese.

As reported by Football Espana, the Argentine defender has signed a five-year deal with the Spanish club.
