Nickamed 'El Pistolero' ('The Gunman'), Suarez is know for his outrageous goals, his trademark celebrations and some of his more controversial moments. His trademark celebration can be seen in a special tweet posted by Goal.Com for his birthday.

The Good:

Suarez is still a prolific striker and during the 2020/21 season he scored 21 goals for Athletico at the age of 34.

Suarez has a reputation for scoring goals at every club he's played for. At Ajax, he scored 111 goals in 159 games, while at Liverpool, he scored 129 goals in three-and-a-half years at the club. For Barcelona, he scored 195 goals, leading them to numerous titles in the process. The Express also reported Aston Villa are interested in signing Suarez, although Steven Gerrard has denied this.

Suarez is also Uruguay's all-time leading goalscorer. Suárez has won 19 major trophies, including seven league titles and the UEFA Champions League.

He's also won the Copa América with Uruguay.

The Bad:

You can't talk about Suarez's bad side without mentioning the 2010 FIFAWorld Cup quarter-final against Ghana. Ghana and Uruguay were tied at one goal apiece before Luis Suarez angered the African continent with his actions. Suarez deliberated handled the ball on the line to deny Ghana a goal that would have seen them advance to the semi-finals of the World Cup.

Suarez also made headlines for admitting to diving as well as being found guilty of racially abusing Patrice Evra.

The Ugly:

Suarez has always been hungry for goals and his appetite sometimes gets the better of him. Suarez has bitten opponents on three separate occasions. His most notable biting incident was in the 2014 FIFA World Cup when he bit Italy's Giorgio Chiellini.

The bites became the source of many memes over the years.

Despite the many controversies over the years, there's no doubt that Suarez is a talented superstar who will continue to make headlines, good and bad, for years to come.

All is now set for Ousmane Dembele to leave Barcelona as it appears the Spanish giants are now prepared to sell-off the winger after talks for a new contract broke down recently, Sports Brief reported.

Dembele’s contract with the Catalonian club is set to expire at the end of the current campaign and talks for a contract renewal appeared to have broken down after the French winger got angry at the Barca hierarchy after the signing of Manchester City’s Ferran Torres.

The Spanish giants had appealed to Demebele to lower his wages in his new contract which the French man was still considering before the announcement of Torres. Now according to Football London, it has now been announced that Dembele is likely to leave the club before the conclusion of this month's transfer window.
