Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach, Dr Prosper Ogum, has reportedly left his role as trainer of the Porcupine Warriors after just ten months in charge of the club.

The former WAFA coach resigned from his role following a successful campaign in the domestic league with the Reds.

According to multiple reports, Dr Ogum decided to quit after a meeting with the management of the team on Wednesday.

With the club heading to Africa to represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League, news of Dr Ogum's departure has left fans in shock.

Meanwhile, the Reds are expected to start preparations ahead of the new season in the comping weeks.

Asante Kotoko has already lost two midfielders in the transfer window, with Mudasiru Salifu and Fabio Gama leaving the club.

Kotoko midfielder Mudasiru Salifu joins Sheriff Tiraspol

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfielder Mudasiru Salifu has completed his move to Moldovan giants Sheriff Tiraspol in the summer transfer widow.

The 25-year-old joins the UEFA Champions League campaigners after successfully passing his medical on Monday.

The club announced the arrival of the Ghanaian midfielder on their official website as he begins his career abroad.

Asante Kotoko announce Fabio Gama's departure

Asante Kotoko have officially said goodbye to Fabio Gama, who is on the verge of joining Muharraq Club in Bahrain.

The Porcupine Warriors confirmed the Brazilian would not be signing a new contract and will be departing Kumasi this month.

Kotoko took to social media to announce Gama's departure in a farewell message.
