League leaders Asante Kotoko suffered a 3-0 defeat at home to Legon Cities at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the Ghana Premier League.

Michel Otoo opened the scoring after he converted a beautiful penalty in the 18th minute.

The visitors doubled their lead ten minutes later courtesy of a wonderful striker by Hans Kwoffie.

The Porcupine Warriors fought back stronger before recess as Mudasiru Salifu found the back of the net to reduce the deficit for Prosper Ogum's side.

However, Maxwell Konadu and his charges started the second half on a brighter as they regained their two-goal advantage through Hans Kwofie who scored two minutes into the second half

Despite the efforts of the hosts, the team could not get back into the game and had to succumb to a 3-1 win at the end of the 90 minutes.
