"Helsingborgs IF has agreed with Ghanaian Asante Kotoko SC on a loan from midfielder Joseph Amoako. HIF has a call option in the contract that applies after the season," wrote the club on their official website.

Amoako joined Asante Kotoko at the start of the season and has made two appearances for the Ghana Premier League leaders.

His move is expected to help him continue his development after showing great potential in the domestic league.

The winger is delighted to have sealed a dream move to Europe and hopes to justify his loan move by earning a permanent deal.

"It's an honor to be here. I am happy and grateful to be a part of this family. Benjamin Acquah has told me that it is a family club, that everyone around the club is friendly and that everyone will take care of me as they did with him. I am a fast outfielder who likes to challenge and is good with both feet. Olympia is a great arena and I look forward to playing matches here," he said.

Joseph Amoako could make his debut on Monday when Helsingborg play FC Nordsjaelland in a friendly.
