Arsenal chiefs have been urged by their former player Emmanuel Frimpong to sell embattled striker Aubameyang who has missed the club's last two games due to discipline.

There is no doubt about the fact that Aubameyang is one of the best strikers in the world considering his performances so far most especially since moving to the Premier League.

However, things recently turned sour for the Gabonese striker at the Emirates stadium and he has missed the last two games played by the North London side.

Aubameyang's future at Arsenal is now in doubt going by the latest development and he could be leaving the Emirates stadium in January.

According to the report on UK Sun, Emmanuel Frimpong stated clearly that it will be nice for Arsenal chiefs to cash in now in Aubameyang.

Emmanuel Frimpong's comment about Aubameyang

"I think it would be good for Arsenal to cash in. Look at his age, he's getting older, and we need a new striker that we can have for the next five years.
"He’s a great player but this is the best time to cash in. It will be difficult though, as he's on very good wages. It's not going to be easy to get him out."

Arsenal make stunning decision over embattled Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Gabonese international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been banished from the Arsenal squad as reports further claim the former captain could be on his way out of the club.

Arsenal, on Tuesday, December 14, announced that Aubameyang has been stripped of captaincy.

It was gathered that the 32-year-old returned late from a trip to France and was consequently let out of the squad for their game against Southampton last weekend.

And the forward was not named in the squad that faced West Ham United in the mid-week, sparking a wave of speculation as to when he would don the Arsenal shirt again.

Latest reports from the club have it that Aubameyang has been barred from training with the first team, indicating is days at the London club are numbered.
