In their bid to bolster their squad in January, English Premier League club Arsenal are reportedly making enquiries about Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu.

Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo via Voetbalnieuws are reporting that the Gunners have made contact with the KRC Genk forward for a possible move when the January transfer window opens.

Other option available to the Londoners is Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahocic who is already linked with an exit from the Italian club.

Onuachu is linked with the position after his scoring form in the last 18 months attracted several top clubs in Europe.

According to Soccernet, the Nigerian forward who scored a staggering 35 goals last season has alerted big clubs.

Arsenal were reportedly among those previously linked with a move for the former FC Midtjylland goal poacher.

Onuachu failed to secure a dream move away from Belgium, but he has put that disappointment behind him and has notched 11 goals already this term.

Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are also reportedly keen on Super Eagles star, but Arsenal could trump the Spanish champions as Onuachu once expressed his love for the Gunners

Paul Onuachu linked with Tottenham

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Nigeria international Paul Onuachu as back up for Harry Kane.

The Super Eagles star has scored nine goals in 10 Belgian League appearances so far this campaign. He also has a couple of other goals in other competitions too.

Spurs will have to battle clubs like Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Southampton and West Ham for his signature.

Reports claim Genk will not entertain offers from any interested club below the £20 million they slap on the striker.

Desperate Barcelona continue Kylian Mbappe chase

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Paris Saint Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe will become a free agent next summer after refusing to commit his future to the Paris-based Ligue 1 outfit.

The Frenchman has now been linked with a move to a number of top clubs with Real Madrid leading the race for his signature.

But a twist of the event has now seen Barcelona reportedly showing interest in the teenage FIFA World Cup winner on a free transfer next June despite their huge debt.
