Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka has opened up on Pep Guardiola's unlikely role in the Gunners' Premier League title charge this season.

Mikel Arteta's charges have emerged as the firm favourites to cart home the Premier League trophy this term.

The north Londoners have enjoyed an impressive campaign that has seen them lose just three of their last 28 fixtures.

The Gunners are currently topping the charts with 69 points and have an eight-point advantage over Man City, who are their closest title challengers.

Guardiola's role in Arsenal's EPL bid

Apparently, Guardiola, who has won four Premier League titles since he took charge of Man City, has played an unlikely role in Arsenal's title bid.

According to Saka, the arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus from the Etihad Stadium last summer has put the Gunners in a pole position to win the EPL title for the first time since 2004.

The English winger disclosed that both Zinchenko and Jesus brought the winning mentality to the Emirates.

“Zinchenko has brought quality - but he’s brought so much more. You can see how he plays and how he controls the game. He’s an outstanding player. He has great leadership qualities, so he’s really helping us on all fronts," The Mirror quoted Saka saying.
“They (Zinchenko and Jesus) have brought that winning mentality to us as players who have been there and won the league. In difficult moments they know how it feels, they can encourage us, because we have a lot of young players. They really help us with the mental side of things," the youngster added.

Saka taunted for Kardashian interaction

Sports Brief also reported on how English players taunted Bukayo Saka after the winger’s interaction with Kim Kardashian’s son.

Last Thursday, hawk-eyed fans noted Kim K only took out her phone to film when it was his turn to take a penalty in the shootout.

Saka reported for international duty as he linked up with his England teammates, who wasted no time in referencing the incident.
