Arteta linked with Real Madrid

However, it seems Arteta may not be at the Emirates Stadium for long, with reports suggesting Real Madrid are keen on his services.

Reports suggest that the La Liga giants have taken note of Arsenal's transformation under the former midfielder and could be tempted to snap him up to succeed Carlo Ancelotti.

Speaking on the speculation, Arteta insisted that his focus is on the Arsenal job.

"Managers and players can’t control what is written by the press," Arteta retorted.
"What I can tell is that I’m fully focused on what I’m doing here and extremely proud and grateful to do what I’m doing in this football club. That’s it," he added, as quoted by Metro UK.

Conte speaks on leaving Tottenham

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte has addressed his future with the club following his side's elimination from the Champions League.

Tottenham were bundled out of the European elite competition on Wednesday night by Serie A giants AC Milan.

The north Londoners had suffered a 1-0 defeat in the reverse fixture played in Italy and were hoping to overturn the scoreline when they hosted AC Milan in London.
