Fans want Saka to win Ballon d'Or

A section of fans has now initiated a campaign for the English winger to win the Ballon d'Or award this year.

One fan wrote:

"We have to start pushing Saka Ballon D’or agenda."

A second added:

"Saka ballon d’Or shouts I’ll be there no matter what.

Another commented:

"Saka win ballon D’or first then Martinelli afterwards."

A fourth demanded:

"Just give Saka the ballon d'or already so we can all go home!"

Despite the fans' campaign, Saka is sure to face stiff competition in his hopes of laying his hands on the coveted prize.

PSG stars Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe have been touted as the favourites to cart home the award after an incredible 2022 that saw them shine at the World Cup.

Saka matches Henry's record

Sports Brief earlier reported that Bukayo Saka matched Henry's record by scoring in three consecutive matches against Manchester United.

He spoke ahead of the 3-2 win over Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium, and when he was reminded of the record, he accepted the challenge.

He put the Gunners level in the match after Marcus Rashford had put the Red Devils ahead earlier and Eddie Nketiah equalised.
