Arsenal have often been known for being modest in the transfer market. Despite being a top-six club endowed with resources, the Gunners rarely 'overbid' for their targets.
They were recently outbid by their London rivals, Chelsea to the signing of Mykhailo Mudryk, but the silver lining for them was that they quickly wrapped up transferring Leandro Trossard from Brighton.

Part of the reason Mudryk is thought to have snubbed Arsenal was the better wages Chelsea was offering him. So, who are the top earners at the Gunners and how much are they raking in weekly?
Sports Brief takes a look at Arsenal's best-paid players after Trossard's arrival, as captured by GMS. The Belgian will take home 90,000 pounds weekly, placing him at position nine on Arsenal's list.

Gabriel Jesus is the best-paid player, after the former Manchester City striker agreed to a 265,000 pounds weekly wage. He beats the second person on the list, Thomas Partey by a distance. The Ghanaian earns 200,000 pounds weekly.
Oleksandr Zinchenko comes in third with 150,000 pounds, while Ben White and Granit Xhaka are both at 120,000 pounds.

Bukayo Saka is way off at 70,000 pounds. It is expected the club will renew his contract and offer him a higher salary in light of his recent performances.
Chelsea's top earners in 2023
Chelsea are a top-paying club with new signing, Joao Felix fifth on the list with a weekly wage of 250,000 pounds, Sports Brief also reported.
Raheem Sterling's arrival in the summer from Man City saw him eclipse Kai Havertz as the club's best-paid player, with Kalidou Koulibaly also drawing a hefty paycheck.
N'Golo Kante, one of the club's most reliable performers, is also among the top earners, with Reece James recently earning a pay rise with a new contract.
