Arsenal's brace hero, Eddie Nketiah has warned English Premier League defenders to be wary of his threat, after scoring twice in the victory over Manchester United.

The phrase is from a recent Arsenal chant by fans of the club. Nketiah's form has endeared him to the Gunners faithful, who believe the striker can lead them to league success for the first time in 19 years.

Nketiah is currently deputising for the injured Gabriel Jesus, and has made it difficult to truly feel the Brazilian's absence.

How Arsenal beat Manchester United

The Red Devils got off to a great start after in-form Marcus Rashford opened the scoring with a thunderous strike in the 17th minute, but Nketiah responded seven minutes later after heading home from a Granit Xhaka cross.

Arsenal took the lead in the second half, after Bukayo Saka fired from outside the box. World Cup winner, Lisandro Martinez then netted his first Manchester United goal to level the game just before the hour mark.

Just when United thought they would be returning to Old Trafford with a point, Nketiah stole the winner at the death.

Nketiah refutes replacing Jesus

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Arsenal striker Nketiah has reacted to claims he is replacing injured teammate Gabriel Jesus, after starting against West Ham on Boxing Day.

The English-born Ghanaian was given the nod by manager, Mikel Arteta, going on to score as Arsenal strolled to a 3-1 win at the Emirates Stadium.

After another impressive display, some pundits believe the Gunners will not be missing Jesus because of Nketiah's current red-hot form.
