Gabriel Jesus fires warning to Arsenal teammates

Jesus has now sent his teammates a strong warning following the frustrating result at St. Mary's, warning them to brace themselves for even difficult times.

Speaking after the match, the Brazilian striker was quick to remind his teammates of the need to bounce back real soon if they are to sustain their Premier League title charge.

"I’m disappointed, we’re all upset with the result today because we know our quality, we know we could win the game today the way we played," Jesus told Premier League Productions via Metro UK.
"Everyone is upset, now it’s the difficult time I think, the difficult time is coming so everyone has to be alert, focus more, we have six or seven games before we stop before the World Cup, so we need to come back," he added.

Arsenal are scheduled to play Nottingham Forest in their next Premier League clash but have to contend with a Europa League trip to PSV in between.

Fans slam Southampton vs Arsenal refereeing

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Arsenal fans have claimed that they were robbed of a favourable result during their trip to Southampton on Sunday.

The Premier League leaders were held to a 1-1 draw during the clash, with Stuart Armstrong cancelling out Granit Xhaka's opener.

Whereas the Saints showed a fighting spirit, especially in the second half, Arsenal fans contend the referee had a hand in their disappointing result.
