  • Ronaldinho has tipped Gabriel Jesus to show he is one of the best players in the world because of the love showered on him at Arsenal
  • Jesus is enjoying a superb start to the season, scoring twice in his opening two Premier League games
  • The 25-year-old brought his five-storied seasons at Manchester City to an end this summer when he completed a £45 million move to Arsenal

Brazilian great Ronaldinho Gaucho has predicted Arsenal's lead striker Gabriel Jesus will become one of the best players in the world.

Jesus has begun the season on a flier, notching two goals in Arsenal's opening two Premier League goals with many touting the former Man City forward as the missing piece in Arteta's puzzle.

And Ronaldinho, now 42, expects Gabriel Jesus to show he is among the best players in the world this season because he is feeling “the love” at Arsenal.

"When he was given a chance, he showed what he was capable of - but at Manchester City, he was never shown the love a player of his quality deserves.
"At Arsenal, he has been given the chance to be the focal point, he has been shown the love by the coach and the fans, and already he is repaying that.
"This season I expect big things from him - he will repay the love shown in him by showing he is not just one of the best players in The Premier League but also in Europe."

Gabriel Jesus makes ambitious declaration ahead of new adventure with Arsenal

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that new Arsenal signing Gabriel Jesus has declared his ambitions for the forthcoming season following his £45 million transfer to the north London club.

The 25-year-old forward stated in no uncertain terms of achieving laurels with the Gunners as he laid down his objectives for joining Arsenal.

Jesus lifted the Premier League title four times while he was with Man City, while also clinching three League Cup winners medals during his time at the Etihad, as well as one FA Cup and the Brazilian is still hungry for more.
