Man City star confirms Zinchenko's exit

Man City midfielder Rodri all but confirmed Zinchenko's looming Etihad exit with an emotional tribute to the Ukrainian.

“Oleks is not with us anymore. He’s been great as a team-mate as a player," Rodri was quoted saying.
“He deserved the best and we are going to miss him, but this is football, it continues and new players come in – we are happy for him," he added.

Meanwhile, Zinchenko's move to the Emirates will see him become the north Londoners' fifth signing of the summer.

Arteta's side have already signed high-profile players in the ongoing window, including Gabriel Jesus, who joined them from City.

Arsenal star delighted to make Emirates return

Earlier, Sports Brief reported William Saliba has revealed his desire to fight for a starting role under Mikel Arteta after his return to Arsenal.

The 21-year-old French defender was signed by the Gunners in 2019 but struggled to win over Arteta's trust.

However, the ex-Saint Etienne star is set to get a lifeline at the Emirates in the upcoming season following his return to Arsenal.
