Jesus linked up well with Nketiah, who provided him with the assist for in the game against Nurnberg.

Speaking after the game, Jesus said, quoted by FootballGhana:

"It was so good to play with Eddie."
"We’re both together and make short passes that’s good. Two strikers there is a little bit different. We have a lot of qualities and it was so good to play with him."

Last season, Nketiah played 21 games in the Premier League, scored five goals, and provided one assist for Mikel Arteta's side as they finished 5th on the league table.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Eddie Nketiah is up and running as he bagged a hat trick for Arsenal in a preseason friendly against lower-tier side Ipswich Town.

Nketiah, who was assigned the iconic No.14 jersey after he penned a new deal with the Gunners, proved he is more than capable of filling the big shoes of Aubameyang as Arsenal's leading marksman.

Eddie's treble and solitary strikes from Belgian midfielder Sambi Lokonga and Folarin Balogun were enough to hand Mikel Arteta's charges a comfortable 5-1 win in their first outing in preseason.
