England-born forward of Ghanaian descent, Eddie Nketiah is on the cusp of signing a five-year deal with Premier League outfit Arsenal.
The 22-year-old Nketiah's current deal with the Gunners will elapse in the summer but following his purple patch of form at the tail-end of the season, he is set to extend his stay with Arsenal.
According to transfer market expert, Fabrizio Romano, Eddie Nketiah will sign a five-year deal with the 13-time Premier League champions.
Nketiah's new contract would be worth in the region of £100,000-per-week for five years in length, according to the Daily Mail.
The 22-year-old is also expected to earn a huge signing on bonus, believed to be up to £5million although the contract is still in the process of being finalised.
Per Fabrizio Romano, the Chelsea academy alumnus was coveted by numerous clubs, including Crystal Palace, West Ham and two Bundesliga clubs approached Eddie but he will be staying put at the Emirates Stadium.
Aside from clubs, Nketiah is also being coveted by the Ghana Football Association, who are keen on luring the England-born centre forward to play for the Black Stars.
He finished the 2021-22 season by scoring five goals in his last seven Premier League appearances.
