Soon-to-be Ghanaian forward Eddie Nketiah has changed his mind about leaving Arsenal and is on the verge of signing a new deal.
According to the Daily Mail, Nketiah's new contract would be worth in the region of £100,000-per-week for five years in length.
The 22-year-old is also expected to earn a huge signing on bonus, believed to be up to £5million although the contract is still in the process of being finalised.
Nketiah is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season but his performances this year have encouraged the Gunners to keep hold of him.
Per the Athletic, the English-born of Ghanaian descent was coveted by numerous clubs, including Crystal Palace, and West Ham but it appears he will now stay at the Emirates Stadium.
He finished the 2021-22 season by scoring five goals in his last seven Premier League appearances.

Meanwhile, Nketiah is close to sealing his nationality switch from England to Ghana before the World Cup in Qatar.
The 22-year-old has reportedly secured his Ghanaian passport as the move to represent the African giants enters its final stages.
According to 442GH.com, the England U21 all-time top scorer has decided to play for Ghana at international level after receiving his passport.
