Eddie Nketiah may be playing for north London outfit Arsenal but has a storied past with Chelsea.

Nketiah spent the majority of his formative years in the academies of Chelsea and Arsenal. After being scouted by Chelsea at the age of nine, Nketiah was released by the Blues before joining Arsenal.

After Nketiah's near bust-up with Declan Rice, a video has emerged on the internet with the latter detailing how Nketiah helped the team out with meals, to stress home their close relationship.

Both Nketiah and Rice shared good memories at Stamford Bridge, with Declan Rice sharing a heartwarming moment where the Arsenal forward used to serve the entire team with a bowl of Jollof rice.

"When we were at Chelsea we used to go on long aways and used to travel on the coach. Eddie used to bring a massive bowl, like a big jollof rice to feed the whole team. The lads used to be buzzing over it," he said.

What happened between Rice and Nketiah when Arsenal faced West Ham?

The one-time close pals were involved in a near fisticuff in Arsenal's 2-1 win at West Ham United last Saturday.

The usually composed Rice was in the face of his childhood friend Nketiah Nketiah had just been booked for a minor scuffle with Aaron Cresswell and after that died down, Rice decided to get in the face of his fellow Chelsea academy alumni.

Fredericks came over to calm the 23-year-old down, but he wouldn't let it go and continued to hassle Nketiah before Martin Odegaard intervened.

Eddie Nketiah resurrects Arsenal's top-four ambitions

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that English-born forward Eddie Nketiah scored two goals on either side of halftime as Arsenal returned to winning ways.

Nketiah's brace helped the Gunners arrest their three-game losing streak when they defeated Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.

The results inadvertently resuscitate Arsenal's top-four ambitions as the Gunners are currently locked on 57 points with Tottenham ahead of the North London showdown.
