According to Foot Mercato, Arsenal have held talks with Real over the likelihood of securing the services of Hazard on loan.

However, Hazard is reportedly unwilling to negotiate the deal as he is not open to a move to the Emirates.

Football.London claims the Belgian playmaker is ready to snub the transfer despite his lack of game time at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Hazard previously had a successful stint in the Premier League with Chelsea who he joined from Lille in 2012.

And after spending seven years at Stamford Bridge, the winger sealed a dream move to Real Madrid where he has endured a torrid spell.

A dip in form occasioned by a series of injuries has hampered his progress with the La Liga giants who are now exploring the option of offloading him momentarily.

Hazard's refusal to discuss a move to Arsenal is likely to send the north Londoners back to the drawing board in their hunt for players who can help them challenge for titles.
