According to New Soccervista, Arsenal have won the last two meetings against Leicester City and three of their last five encounters with Leicester winning just once.

The Gunners are bidding to return to the top-four but will need to complete a league double over Leicester for the first time in six seasons in order to achieve that feat.

Leicester City is presently 12th on the league table but could win back-to-back away league games against the Gunners for the first time after last season's 1-0 win at the Emirates.

Team News ahead of Sunday big game

Arsenal's leading goalscorer, Emile Smith Rowe will be available for selection after recovering from Covid-19 last week and has been missing for the Gunners for two matches.

According to the BBC, James Maddison and James Justin returned from injury lay-offs for Leicester City during Thursday's win over Rennes but striker Jamie Vardy is still sidelined with a knee injury.

Bukayo Saka is expected to start for Arsenal alongside Martin Odegaard and Lacazette as the 21-year-old England international hopes to improve on his 9 goals in 10 EPL games for the Gunners.

Arsenal can still miss out on Champions League football

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Arsenal can still miss out on Champions League football next season even if they seal a top-four place finish in the EPL this term.

The Gunners are undoubtedly the team to beat in the top four race, with Mikel Arteta's charges having an edge over their rivals in the battle to seal the final Champions League spot.

The north Londoners are currently placed fourth on the standings with 48 points, a point ahead of fifth-placed Man United who suffered a 4-1 humiliating defeat against rivals, Man City.
