Lehlohonolo Majoro went out of his way to play his part in giving back during the festive season.

The AmaZulu striker and his wife Boitumelo Letlapa spent Christmas day buying food and clothes for the homeless on their travels.

According to Opera News, Majoro took to his Instagram page to share his and Letlapa's activities during the holiday.

Majoro is a rarity in South African football on the field of play. He was one of the select few players to have represented Soweto arch-rivals Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs during their distinguished careers.

Respected Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah has donated a whopping sum of 3 million Egyptian pounds to support the victims and help rebuild the church destroyed by a deadly fire.

This is not the first time Salah has made such huge donations with the Liverpool star donating 50 million Egyptian pounds ($3.2 million) to the Cancer Institute in Cairo after it suffered damage following a car explosion in August 2019.

Despite his magnanimous gestures Salah has been unable to inspire Liverpool this term, with the Reds securing two points out of a possible six in their opening two games
