Mohammed Kudus is a huge fan of Ghanaian reggae-dancehall musician, Stonebwoy.

The Black Stars and Ajax midfielder has developed a ritual of listening to the multiple-award winning singer before and after games.

In a video shared on social media, Kudus is seen reflecting on videos of his renditions of Stonebwoy sings for his teammates at Ajax.

According to the Black Stars player, the Ghanaian musician is very popular in the Dutch club's locker room.

”I remember one time his song 'Gidigba' - they know when they play it - I’m very crazy in the dressing room and all of them will start calling my name," Kudus said as quoted by Pulse.

Kudus explained he started listening to Stonebwoy in Ghana, with his love for the musician growing after he got to know him personally.

"I feel he is more than a musician to me. He is a wonderful person."

Stonebwoy and Kudus are very good friends, with the duo meeting during the player's return to Ghana for holidays.

The Black Stars player is enjoying a fine season with the Dutch champions, netting his seventh goal in the Eredivisie in the 4-1 win against Excelsior.
