Mohammed Kudus is full of praise for his mother for instilling in him the discipline and work ethic needed to be a successful person.

The Ajax star is having an amazing campaign despite the struggles of the Dutch champions, having scored 12 goals across all competitions.

Despite his run of form, Kudus maintains a cool head and hopes to help his club and country win trophies.

In a video shared on social media, an emotional Kudus pays tribute to his mother, describing her as the best person in his life.

"That's my mother," he responded after he was showed a photo with her during his time in Denmark. "This was when she visited for a game in Denmark and it was really nice," he added.
"It was cold but it was a nice experience. I scored so it was a nice feeling.
"She is the woman and man of the house, she took care of me and my siblings by her own self. I think she is the most important person in my life," he said.

Kudus is in the news for all the right reason and in recent times has popped up on the radar of several clubs. According to the midfielder, one valuable lesson his mother taught him was to learn how to take responsibility for his action.

"Be a man. Take responsibility for my own action. My religious life comes from her upbringing. She is very religious," said Kudus.

The Ghana international scored his sixth Eredivisie goal of the season in midweek as Ajax laboured to a 1-1 draw against Volendam, leading to the sacking of manager Alfred Schreuder.

Kudus scores stunner against Volendam

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghana's World Cup star, Mohammed Kudus is back on the scorers sheet after netting a stunning goal to rescue a point for Ajax against FC Volendam.

The 22-year-old came off the bench to score with ten minutes remaining as the game ended 1-1 at the Johan Cryuff Arena.

The relegation threatened Volendam had taken the lead just before the hour mark through Damon Mirani.
