Unstoppable Mohammed Kudus Scores Again As Ajax Cruise to Victory Against Rangers in UEFA Champions League

Mohammed Kudus scored on his return to the Ajax starting line up, as the Dutch champions travelled to Scotland to beat Glasgow Rangers.

The Ghana international also served an assist in the 3-1 victory in Glasgow, to end Group A in third place.

Kudus served the provider for Steven Berghuis' opener after just four minutes, before he turned scorer on the half-hour mark with a brilliant finish.

James Tavernier pulled one back for the hosts in the 89th minute, but Ajax responded with another strike in injury time. Chico Conceicao completed the scoring after meeting a Dusan Tadic pass.

Kudus has now scored four goals in six games in the UEFA Champions League.

However, his run in the competition comes to an end as Ajax drop to the Europa League after finishing third in Group A.

The 22-year-old is enjoying a fine season, having netted five times in the Eredivisie.

Mohammed Kudus scores against Napoli

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Mohammed Kudus scored his third goal in the UEFA Champions League, after bundling home the opener in Ajax's game against Napoli on Wednesday night.

The 22-year-old met a strike from Dusan Tadic, as Ajax took an early lead against the Italians at the Johan Cryuff Arena.

In a video posted on social media, the midfielder-turned-striker poached home to record his third of the season.

Mohammed Kudus drew a heartwarming reaction from students of the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, after scoring from a ferocious strike against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League.

The 22-year-old graduate of the academy scored for Ajax in their 2-1 defeat at Anfield in the midweek.

In a video posted on social media, spotted by Sports Brief, young students of the Academy that nurtured Kudus were seen jubilant as the midfielder powered home to level Mohamed Salah's lead.
