Experienced midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari might not be available for Accra Hearts of Oak ahead of their matchday 20 fixture against Aduana Stars.

According to multiple reports on the local media landscape, Sulley will not join the current league champions in their away trip to Dormaa.

The 37-year-old is reported to have cited the long-distance to the match venue as the reason behind his decision not to travel with the club.

Hearts will lock horns against Aduana Stars as the club seeks to build on their current two-game winning run in the biggest match of the weekend.

He is reported to have joined his teammates via a flight in their away fixture against Real Tamale United - which was the club's last away game in the Ghana Premier League.

How has Sulley performed since joining Hearts

Since making his debut against city rivals Accra Great Olympics in the Mantse Derby, the former Inter Milan star has been a mainstay for the Phobians.

He has since managed a total of six matches in all competitions for the capital-based heavyweights.

Sulley has a goal and an assist in the Ghana Premier League and recently won his maiden trophy with his boyhood club as Hearts defeated Asante Kotoko in the President's Cup.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that former Ghana international Sulley Ali Muntari has opened his goalscoring account for Accra Hearts of Oak.

The 37-year-old midfielder scored from the penalty spot as the reigning Ghana Premier League champions squared off against West Africa Football Academy in an outstanding league game.

Muntari netted from the penalty spot as the capital-based outfit held on to secure a much-needed 2-1 victory over WAFA at the Accra Sports Stadium.
