Sulley Muntari's son, Jamal Kruise Muntari, has finally seen his dream of watching his father play at a stadium come to reality after the former Ghana midfielder made his debut for Hearts of Oak.

The former AC Milan and Inter Milan star replaced defender William Dankyi in the 77th minute as the Phobians lost 1-0 on his debut.

In photos posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, Muntari's son and wife, Menaye Donkor were there to support the Black Stars legend.

Sulley Muntari joined the Phobians last week, having trained with the club for sometime, after returning from Europe.

The 37-year-old before signing for the Phobians last played in Spain for lower tier side Albacete Balompie.

Sulley Muntari reveals his son inspired his move to Hearts

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Sulley Muntari has revealed that he decided to return to football because of his son, who has never seen him play, despite his several achievements in the sport.

The 2010 UEFA Champions League winner's son is only six and does not have a lot of memories of his father playing.

However, joining Hearts means Jamal Kruise Muntari, son of the footballer, will see his father playing on the grandest stage.

Sulley Muntari makes Hearts of Oak debut

Former Ghana midfielder, Sulley Muntari has finally made his Hearts of Oak debut in the Ghana Premier League match against Great Olympics.

The 37-year-old came on in the second half for William Dankyi as the Phobians lost narrowly to their regional rivals.

Yussif Abdul Razak scored the game's only goal in the 30th minutes as Olympics secured all three points at the Accra Sports Stadium.
