Kylian Mbappe has reportedly completed all formalities of his impending transfer to Real Madrid and may have also confirmed when the deal will be officially announced.
Madrid have been relentless in their pursuit of the Paris Saint-Germain star since the summer window of 2021, having narrowly missed out before he joined PSG in 2017.
According to Marca, the Spanish club put in a bid of €160 million on the deadline day of the 2021 window, but this was swiftly rejected and labelled disrespectful by the French club.
Mbappe's contract then ran down in 2022, and he had the opportunity to decide his future, but after long conversations, he opted to stay in Paris rather than go to Madrid.

Mbappe confirms Real Madrid's move to France president
The reports that Mbappe will join Madrid is no longer news as it is football’s worst kept secret, with media confirming the deal will be done since February.
The player only spoke about his decision to leave PSG a few days before his final home game and, in like manner, has yet to open up on his next move.
As seen in a video shared by RMC Sports, France's President, Emmanuel Macron, had the honour of hearing directly from the player that the transfer will be announced 'tonight'.
He reportedly said 'Ce soir' twice, a French word which means 'tonight' in English, when the two met for lunch at the national team camp in Claire Fontaine.

Mbappe storms out of interview
Sports Brief previously reported that Mbappe walked out of an interview after a journalist asked when his Real Madrid move would be made official, shortly after PSG’s Champions League exit.
The French national team captain appeared furious after struggling in both legs against Borussia Dortmund and was faced with a question regarding a move all parties tried to keep a secret.
