Real Madrid's leading English goal-scorers

1. Jude Bellingham (21 goals)

Bellingham has exceeded expectations in his first season with Real Madrid. He's powering their march towards the La Liga and Champions League titles, scoring 21 goals in all competitions.

He broke the record for most goals scored by an Englishman in Real Madrid colours in Sunday's game against Barcelona. He accomplished the feat in style, netting a 91st-minute match-winner against the Catalan giants.

Bellingham's 17 goals this season have come in the Spanish top flight, three of which were scored against Barca, per the BBC.

He also has scored four goals in the Champions League, helping them reach the semi-final stage of the competition.

2. David Beckham (20 goals)

Beckham made a blockbuster switch in 2003, joining Real Madrid from Manchester United in a £25 million deal.

He scored a total of 20 goals during his time with Los Blancos, seven of which came in his first season with the club.

He failed to match that tally in his last three seasons with Real Madrid.

He scored four and five goals, respectively, in the 2004-05 and 2005-06 campaigns, before concluding his career in Spain with a four-goal tally in the 2006-07 season, per TransferMarkt.

Those numbers were enough for Beckham to tie Laurie Cunningham's record for most goals scored by an Englishman with Real Madrid.

2. Laurie Cunningham (20 goals)

Cunningham became the first Englishman to score 20 goals in Real Madrid colours. He left West Bromwich Albion in 1979 to join Los Blancos and he made an immediate impact with them.

He scored 12 goals in his first season with Real Madrid, eight of which came in La Liga.

He added seven more goals in the 1980-81 campaign despite making just 17 appearances for the Spanish club.

He scored just one goal in the 1981-82 season, which was enough for the Englishman to reach the 20-goal milestone.

Nadal celebrates after Bellingham scores match-winner

Sports Brief recently reported on Rafael Nadal's celebration following Bellingham's goal vs. Barcelona.

He jumped out of his seat and pumped his firsts after the Englishman scored the match-winner against their bitter rivals.

Nadal watched the match with his father and sister.
