Olusesi's journey to professionalism commenced last summer when he penned scholarship forms with the club.

He becomes the second Nigerian talent to secure a professional contract with Tottenham this year, following Damola Ajayi, who also renewed his contract in January,

Receiving acclaim from Tottenham's coaching staff, Olusesi showcased his prowess in various competitions during his final season as a schoolboy, making notable appearances in the UEFA Youth League, U18 Premier League, and U18 Premier League Cup, as reported by Tottenham's website.

He has scored 9 goals across all competitions this season.

While hailing from England at birth, Olusesi has represented his country of origin at the U16 and U17 levels, illustrating his potential on the international stage.

Tottenham head coach, Ange Postecoglou, hinted at preparations for the upcoming transfer window, aiming to bolster the squad across all departments. As several players' contracts approach expiration, the club anticipates a period of transition and reinforcement.

"I think we’ll look to strengthen all areas of the park come the end of the season. That's planning that's already underway, and other people are in charge of it at the moment," said Postecoglou, as quoted by Football London.

Currently fifth in the Premier League with 53 points from 28 matches, the Lillywhites will welcome Luton Town at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on March 30.
