Pep Guardiola, Man City manager, is not only arguably the best manager in Premier League, the Spaniard is also the highest paid manager with a staggering annual salary of KSh 2.7 billion (£20 million)

The 48-year-old joined the Premier League champions after a trophy-laden three-year stint with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich

He succeeded Manuel Pellegrini in February 2016 in a deal that has obviously brought a remarkable revolution into the club.

And ever since taking over the mantle of leadership as head coach, Pep has given Man City a bright touch of magic by replicating his brilliant Barcelona antics which have seen the Blues metamorphose into an indomitable side.

According to Sun UK, the 48-year-old, apart from his successful managerial exploits, sits comfortably at the front aisle in the list of highest paid managers in the Premier League.

The Man City boss is followed by Tottenham's Mauricio Pochettino on the list with KSh 1.1 billion (£8.5 million), followed by Man United's Ole Gunner Solskjaer with KSh 1 billion (£7.5 million)

Others on the list include Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp with KSh 935 million (£7 million), Unai Emery (Arsenal) with KSh 801 million (£6 million), Frank Lampard (Chelsea) with KSh 668 million (£5 million).

Guardiola may be a powerhouse on the financial front but he as far as accolades go, he still has some work to do this year.

The Spaniard was a surprise exclusion from the five man shortlist for the Manager of the Year prize at the Globe Soccer Awards.

The Spaniard guided Man City to a domestic treble, winning Premier League trophy title over close challenger Liverpool before capping it all with Carabao and FA Cup triumph, and lately Community Shield.
