Ronaldo celebrates Al-Nassr win
Getting a big goal on a milestone appearance is a Ronaldo thing, and he took to his Instagram page, the most followed in the world with 621 million followers, to celebrate the win.
Surprisingly, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner failed to talk about his record game or his goal; instead, he applauded the team for their performance.
“Kicking off the Round of 16 with a win. Good work, team💪🏽,” he wrote.
The former Real Madrid star, named Mr Champions League during his time in Europe, is also making the Asian Champions League his own.
He has five goal contributions – four goals and an assist in the same number of games, one goal behind top scorer, Ulsan Hyundai striker Gustav Ludwigson.
In the league, he has 20 goals and nine assists in 18 games, topping both the scorers' and playmakers' charts, though the Knights of Najd are seven points behind first-placed Al-Hilal.
